Visitors are welcome to bring one or two well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement per cottage holiday. Dogs should be kept under strict control for the comfort of other guests. Our
holiday cottages are in the midst of open farmland and sheep and cattle
graze the adjoining pasture. There are a number of way-marked tracks
nearby which are good for dog walking.
Built in the late 18th to early 19th century, This cottage was home
to early tenants of Easter Corrie until the new farmhouse was built
in the mid 19th century. In those days, before its conversion to a holiday
cottage, the accommodation was very modest. The family would have lived
on the ground floor gaining access to their sleeping quarters upstairs
by climbing a ladder through a hole in the ceiling. Water was drawn
from a well, which can still be seen in the garden. More
